This week was a good week--lots of learning; lots of positive energy. I hope you have a great weekend and come back ready to roll since we only have two more real teaching weeks ahead of us.
Looking ahead...
On Monday, we're going to continue our talk show that we started today in 6C. All of our experts were knowledgeable and well-prepared, and because we ran out of time, they agreed to return on Monday to finish the conversation. We are very fortunate to have such flexible experts with us. And we also had a wonderful talk-show host today, all the way from Taiwan, who has also agreed to return for part 2 on Monday. I'm really looking forward to hearing what they have to say.
In 6D, several of our experts were unable to attend today and since our audience really wants to learn about crime in Iraq, Angola, and Saudi Arabia, we had to postpone our talk show. I am especially concerned about our Saudi expert, whom I heard has been ill lately (we wish him a speedy recovery). Hopefully all of our experts will be able to make it on Monday to impart their knowledge on this very important subject.
On Monday we will also have our listening test, so please post your questions on the blog in the appropriate place.
Most likely on Tuesday we will finish our grammar work with unreal conditionals, and hope and wish. Then we will spend W, Th, and F on reducing adverb clauses to adverbials (also known as absolute structure).
We will have the next round of debates on THURSDAY and FRIDAY. Debate topics and teams will be posted shortly.
So lots of exciting things coming up...
My pleasure, I'm googling how to be a good,well- prepared host. Lmao
